Prioletti Consultants was established in 1992 and has worked with over 350 Government and non Government agencies to assist with the provision of culturally relevant services and to improve the competencies of staff working in the Community Services Sector.
Core Aims
The core aims of Prioletti Consultants are to:
- Assist services to meet the needs of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities so that service provision is both relevant and accessible.
- Develop and deliver a range of training programs (accredited and non accredited) to the Community Services Sector.
- Develop resources (Cross Cultural and Other)
- Assist in Planning (Diversity, Strategic and Business Planning)
Josie Prioletti
Who Are Prioletti Consultants?
The Director, Josie Prioletti, has been the primary consultant and trainer as well as having a major role in project management. Her formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Science, and Diploma of Education. Josie is assisted by a team of people with particular expertise and experience in cultural diversity and relevant industries.
What Do Prioletti Consultants Do?
In order to meet the above aims, Prioletti Consultants initiate a wide range of generic programs that assist agencies in meeting diverse cultural needs.
These include:
- An extensive range of State-wide Multicultural Forums.
- Prioletti Consultants presented the Key Issues facing CALD communities during the initial consultation forums in preparation for the development of the State Plan.
- Over 200 agencies have developed individualized Cultural Plans with our assistance.
- Provision of tailored Cross Cultural Training packages both accredited and non accredited.
- Completion of numerous Research Projects in relation to the cultural needs of people accessing the service system.
In addition, we have also designed specific tools to assist individual agencies. Individual tools include:
- Promotional Plans developed to assist particular agencies promote their services to specific communities.
- Individualized Grievance Procedures appropriate for specific cultures.
- Resource lists of key ethno specific services in local areas.
- Resource lists of ethnic media (print and radio) and language services.
